Acocks Green Farmers Market takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month stalls are situated opposite the Holy Souls Church on Warwick Road. The next market will be Saturday 20th October, with stalls selling local produce, plants and home-crafts. The Christmas Lights Switch On will be combined with the November market, 17th November, with especially themed Christmas goodies and produce by local craft people. A new website for the village is under development, and Acocks Green BID are organising a photograph competition to capture images for use on the new website. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, the closing date is Friday 26th October at 12 noon, and the competition is open to everyone.
